Wow would you mind telling me how to pay with a Maestro? Cause the only options are: Visa, Master Card, American Express, Carte Bancaire and Carte Bleue

No, I wouldn't use it, since I have no clue how to, plus I'm not sure if I can at all, here in the Netherlands. Why can't I just make a deposit on an account, with a certain code as description (which you get after you "order" the online product), you confirm the code, and I get the product on my account.

Wouldn't that be 10 times more easy?

Paypal works like a charm in holland. You send (een overschrijving maken ) to paypal. Then you have credits on that account, which you can use to pay your online stuff. It's really easy actually. And you don't need to have a creditcard, mastercard, visacard, any other card which you have to pay extra for a year. You can just use your bankcard.

Guild Wars Online Store already allows me to purchase using Credit Card.

I do not see any need to use a third party PayPal thingie.

in UK they can

alternative for people in the Netherlands for buying from plaync.com would be http://www.paysafecard.com/nl/

Unfortunately it's not accepted in the ingame store and plaync.com doesn't have character slots..

Well to bad this wasn't implemented or some info on it. I decided to skip the purchase of Gwen + 2 Chars Slots as a whole. Loss of 60 Euro's. Oh well GG anet.

I have a credit card and it's working fine for me, No reason to register in Paypal and go through all the verification routine.

No Paypal. Been two or three years; ago my Paypal Account got cracked. Will not take the risk again.

No, I won't use Paypal...

because of bad experiences with them. Like some people on ebay say... once you accept Paypal, you accept all the headaches that come with it too.

im just 19 and do not have access to a credit card, it would be great to have this but is a little to late as the Mission Pack Offer expires soon, my mum has PayPal set up but no longer have use of the credit card(expired) and do not plan on getting another 1(cost way to much)...

there are those(12-19) who dont have access to credit cards but our mums will let use PayPal....and notice the only people saying no are the ones WITH credit cards

I wont use pay pal just simply cause there is nothing worthwhile to buy from anet.Noway i am going to pay 2xprice for something i can get cheaper where i live.And besides,damn anet for not fixing the bugs! I am sick of them!

man i sure wish anet would implement the payment option of surfpin which is the most convenient fastest safest and best way to pay for things online.
until then i will not touch the online store due to hackers and i.d thefts

btw their isnt really nothing to buy well unless anet opens up an item shop or something.

This exactly. I have a card and strongly prefer to use it. It's how you've gotten my cash through the OL store before. I have PP, but I don't care too much for it and only use it when there's no other payment option.

Gaile I know this thread is old but maybe you should have stated: Would you rather have it as an option in addition to credit card or would that be pointless.

I would rather have it as an option since I use paypal for many things. The last time I used my credit card outright I got charges that didn't belong on there and my numbers sold to other companies who also picked at it. I finally caught it and canceled the card, but now I am fighting to get that fixed.

With PayPal I dont have to worry about that.
